PROFESSIONAL PURSUITS
An Innovator in Paper, Education—and Now Publishing
Marita Villafuerte-Pierce, also known as Marita V. Pierce, is an entrepreneur, executive leader, educator, author, and lifelong innovator known for her creative approach to paper products, education, and now publishing.
From designing internationally recognized paper products to creating educational systems, Marita has always looked for new ways to make ideas meaningful, memorable, and useful.
Today, she brings that same spirit of innovation to books.
As a writer, designer, educator, and life coach, she creates books that carry her signature The Truth Warrior® approach—designed to boost faith, strengthen hope, spread joy, encourage the heart, and develop character and leadership for life.
Her experiences as an entrepreneur, educator, cancer conqueror, widow, and lifelong learner have also given her a deep appreciation for the power of compassion, courage, and care.
“A passion to publish The Truth to be cherished for life.”
The Author Who Designs Her Books
Marita's authorship extends beyond writing.
With her background as a designer, educator, and publisher, she is involved in the creative direction of her books from the initial concept to the finished product.
She develops the concept, writes the message, directs the visual presentation, and oversees the production with care.
The design, typography, color, illustrations, story, and message all work together to shape the reader's experience.
One of the fun parts is designing the characters’ clothing, too—making sure each character’s style reflects their personality while remaining consistent and stylish throughout the book.
At times, Marita also takes on the graphic layout and page design herself, working in InDesign.
For Marita, a book is not merely a container for words. It is a carefully integrated creative experience in which every element has a purpose.
That creative integration is part of what makes a Papelini Life Book a Papelini Life Book.
